Daily car ritual #1: insert and eject a half dozen blank CDs into the car CD player to find the mix CD I'm looking for. I could label each CD with a Sharpie, but to create easy to identify CDs with easy to read songs these CD printers are fantastic.

Contrary to belief - ipods are not the be-end-all they claim to be! In fact, most Mp3 players have a lot more features (including FM), and cost a lot less. Take it from me, it's great to carry a player the mainstream turns their head to see!

Manufacturer-included ear phones for digital media devices leave a lot to be desired. I have the Shure E2 ear buds and they deliver amazingly crisp sound quality. The ear bud style also gives more freedom of movement than ear-covering head phones.
